At FounderNest, while we like commonly-accepted terms such as People Operations Intern, we prefer to come up with our own names to better reflect what we are looking for.

Co-founded by two Stanford/Wharton alums, FounderNest is a SaaS company in stealth mode that uses AI to help innovative corporations (Innovation, CVC, and Corp Dev / M&A teams) identify their next partnership, investment, or acquisition target - before their competition. Our core technology is built on real-time analytics running on private and public company data. This fuels our Natural Language Processing AI with +60M companies and +1.2B aggregated data points, allowing us to minimize noise and find 1.5-5x more companies relative to alternatives.

👩🏼‍🎨 What you will do

As a startup things may evolve but we have some degree of certainty on the areas we want you to support. We are a bit structured-minded at FounderNest :) (you’ll see that when you meet us) so we have grouped them in three main buckets:

• Hiring: people excellence starts with bringing the best talent. You will support our hiring processes: identifying and sourcing candidates in creative ways, reaching out to them and scheduling interviews. You will also support the onboarding process when hired and the offboarding process when someone leaves the company.
• Admin: general admin support to the People Excellence area. You will help to manage different tasks related to: administrative management when we have an “alta” or “baja”, engagement surveys, control and update of different reports, support the area in any other activities related to the position that is not mentioned in the previous points.
• Culture shaping and people excellence: this comes down to the goal of having the best environment for each team member to thrive. It includes giving support to different projects: comp & benefits (running benchmark analysis), the proposal and organization of activities, events and offsites for the company, participate in the continuous improvement of People Excellence processes, etc.

🎯 What you will bring

Here is a bit more flavor on what we are looking for:

• Good vibes required 🤙. You love working with people and you really care about them.
• Recent graduate or studying the last year of a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree within the fields of human resources, business, economics, psychology or related 🧑‍🎓.
• We can arrange an internship annex with your university/school 📝.
• Previous experience in general human resources positions would be a plus ➕.
• You don't mind rolling up your sleeves 💪.
